Taking further the Indian government’s motto of Skilled India through vocational training, Indiabulls Foundation has initiated its Skill Development programme in association with DB Tech Society. To take a step towards achieving women empowerment, 600 women beneficiaries coming from underprivileged background are receiving professional skill based training through 15 centers spread across 7 states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
These women are receiving 3 months training to become General Duty Assistants (GDAs) and skilled in providing quality care to patients in hospitals and nursing homes. They will also be trained to provide home based care. After 3 months of extensive and quality training with emphasis on both theory and practical work, they will receive course completion certificates certified by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation). This certification will empower them in becoming certified GDAs who can provide efficient and quality work within the health sector anywhere in India.
