The prevalence of malnourished children in India is among the highest in the world, with dire consequences for mobility, mortality, productivity and economic growth. In our focus area of Maharashtra, IBF aims to tackle malnutrition in the state by providing nutrition supplement for children in orphanages, schools and ashram schools.

Paushtik Aahar is made of indigenous cereals, pulses and grains.It is a complete ready-to-use mix that does not require any cooking whatsoever. If consumed as instructed, Paushtik Aahar improves an individual's immune system considerably thus helps preventing and combating malnutrition.

More than 16,50,000 individuals which includes malnourished children, pregnant ladies, lactating mother's etc... have benefitted by Paushtik Aahar in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad and Nashik districts. All these individuals belong to socially and economically backward families. This includes tribal, slum, abandoned/street children and children from orphanages & rehabilitation centers.
