01 Jun 2017

Taking further the Indian government’s motto of Skilled India, IBF has initiated its Skill Development programme in association with DB Tech Society since June 2017.

To take a step towards achieving women’s empowerment, 600 women beneficiaries coming from lower economic background have received professional skill based training through 15 centers spread across 7 states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

These women received 3 months training to become General Duty Assistants (GDAs) making them responsible in providing quality health aid & care to patients admitted in hospitals & nursing homes. After 3 months of extensive and quality training with emphasis on both theory and practical work, these women were awarded course completion certificates certified by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation).
